Creating a festive Christmas atmosphere in your salon is a great way to make clients feel warm and welcome. I have a few ideas that can get your salon into the Christmas spirit, and I know it seems early, but it always takes time to organise.

Here are some ideas to get your salon into the Christmas spirit:

Christmas Tree

Set up a beautifully decorated Christmas tree near the entrance or waiting area. Decorate it with salon-themed ornaments, such as mini hair tools, combs, and brushes, along with traditional decorations like baubles, tinsel, and fairy lights.

I like the idea of scenting the Salon with Christmas

Light some Christmas-scented candles (think cinnamon, pine, peppermint, or gingerbread) to add a festive aroma to the air. Or use essential oil diffusers with seasonal scents like clove, orange, frankincense, or vanilla to fill the salon with a cozy, warm scent without the flame.

Play a curated playlist of Christmas music throughout the day. Mix classic carols with modern Christmas hits to keep the atmosphere lively. You can even personalize the playlist with some calming tunes for a relaxing vibe while clients get their hair done.

Have your team wear create festive t-shirts and accessories or decorate their station.

Holiday Gift Packs – offer specially made holiday gift packs with salon products like shampoos, conditioners, and styling tools. Wrap them in festive packaging that clients can purchase as gifts.
